Our President Greg Cazillo and Vice President Scott Brown were away on vacation. But when the cats are away the mice still show up for great networking!
Our first speaker was Andy Desiderio of Hook and Anchor Custom Woodworking. Certainly the most talented member we have, he took us through a slide show of some of his projects. From the drawing table to fnished product, Andy is the whole deal! Custom bars, cabinets fit to size, even odd placed and sized, and even designing a beauty salon complete with custom functional drawers like a lipstick drawer to organize all things girly!
Jack Blanton from JBND Tax Books told an amusing and effective fable of how our tax system works, starting out with "ten men go into a bar to buy a beer....". Within 5 minutes we all had a terrific grasp of how it all works. Check out their website and sign up for their tax newsletter to stay on top of your business taxes.
